Statement of Account & Solvency — LLP Form 8 Filed by 30 October Every Year.
Form 8 is the annual financial statement and solvency declaration of an LLP — signed by two designated partners and filed by 30 October. We prepare accounts, coordinate the audit where required, and file Form 8 on time.
Contact UsForm 8 — the Statement of Account and Solvency — is one of the two mandatory annual filings for every LLP under the LLP Act, 2008. It must be filed within 30 days of completion of 6 months from the close of the financial year — by 30 October for LLPs with a March year-end. Form 8 contains the LLP's Statement of Assets and Liabilities (balance sheet) as at 31 March, the Income and Expenditure Account for the financial year, and a Solvency Statement — a declaration by the designated partners that the LLP is able to pay its debts as they fall due in the normal course of business.
The audit requirement for LLPs depends on financial thresholds: if the LLP's turnover exceeds ₹40 lakh or its contribution exceeds ₹25 lakh in any financial year, the accounts must be audited by a Chartered Accountant and the audited accounts must be attached to Form 8. LLPs below these thresholds file Form 8 with unaudited (self-prepared) accounts certified by the designated partners. Either way, the form must be signed by two designated partners using their DSCs.
Form 8 is the financial face of the LLP on MCA — it is publicly accessible and is the primary document reviewed by banks during credit appraisals, by counterparties during vendor or partner due diligence, and by tax authorities during assessments. A consistently filed Form 8 with clean accounts is a strong compliance signal. Late filing attracts additional fees of ₹100 per day per form. We prepare the LLP's accounts, coordinate the audit where required, prepare Form 8, and file before the 30 October deadline.
