Notice for Change of Place of Office — Filing Form 15 When Your LLP's Office Moves.
Form 15 is the statutory notice filed within 30 days whenever an LLP's registered office changes — with address proof and partner resolution. We compile the documentation and file on time for intra-state and inter-state moves.
Contact UsForm 15 is the prescribed form under the LLP Rules, 2009 for giving notice to the Registrar of LLPs of a change in the place of the registered office of an LLP. It must be filed within 30 days of the date of the change. The requirement applies both to changes within the same city or state and to changes involving a move to a different state — though the additional documentation and LLP Agreement update requirements differ for inter-state changes.
The notice must be accompanied by proof of the new registered office: a No Objection Certificate from the property owner (where the LLP does not own the property), a recent utility bill or official document at the new address (not more than 2 months old), and a lease or rent agreement where applicable. The form is signed by a designated partner using their DSC. Failure to file within 30 days constitutes a default by the LLP and attracts additional fees of ₹100 per day from the due date to the actual filing date.
An inter-state registered office change has additional implications — the LLP's registered address is part of the LLP Agreement, so a supplementary agreement recording the new state address must be executed and filed via Form 3. The LLP also transitions to the jurisdiction of the Registrar of LLPs in the new state. We handle the full Form 15 process — from partner resolution and address proof compilation to MCA filing and confirmation — for both intra-state and inter-state scenarios.
